About me:

My name is Richard and I have been working with computers since 1998 when I worked in a nursing home as a dietary supervisor.  Back in those days Windows always had something wrong with it so even other departments outside the kitchen area would call me before calling out for a repair.  I saved the company a lot of money by not having to go outside for service calls.

I was so excited about working with computers that I decided to attend Computer Tech to change careers.  I was a chef up to that point for eighteen years that is what I knew, cooking.  Now I was taking a new journey into the unknown, the world of computers.

After graduating in 2000 I became a POS (Point-of-Sale) installer.  This meant working with touch screen computers and software for restaurants, retail  and grocery stores.  In addition to that I worked with cash registers and some accounting software.
